Neat little bar/restaurant in Millersville. A platter full of fresh cut fries is amazing. Their burgers are very good. We found the servers to be friendly and very nice. They are very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
Weekend Prime Rib. Delicious and a great deal (if they have it. Call first). Maybe it is only Sundays?
We popped in for dinner with no expectations and we're so happy we did! We were starving and devoured everything before remembering to grab pics (sorry!) We started with crispy potato skins, I had the tips Ala jack sandwich and I think I'll probably never get anything different! My hubby had a massive burger and onion rings, and daughter got the wings. Everything was hot and plentiful! Great spot when you're hungry and want a casual spot with great eats!
This review is based solely on a first-time luncheon meal only, so with a menu as extensive as theirs I can see many other items we will wish to try in future visits. And yes, the food we got overall was delicious enough to want to return. Our meal started off with French Onion Soup, Jackalope Eggs, and Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms. One member of the family thought the broth in the soup was a little too rich for her tastes, however I thought it was perfect. I would have liked more onions in the soup, but the cheese and croutons were plentiful. The mushrooms were delicious with both the crab and mushrooms tasting fresh and perfectly cooked. The eggs were the only disappointment here, with a coating that was far spicier than expected. No one in the family could handle that much heat. Once the coating was removed (quite easily) we did have edible boiled eggs, but the price is far too high for simple eggs. For the main course we chose the Burger a'la Jack and the crab stuffed baked potato. The burger was truly one of the most flavorful pieces of meat I've ever had in a sandwich... juicy, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned. The onions, mushrooms, and cheese on the sandwich were delicious and also plentiful. I enjoyed the kind of bun they used, however the ingredients are so juicy that a portion of the bottom half of the bun was moist and had to be cut away. I'm sure that problem would not be so apparent if eaten in the restaurant itself, rather than as a take-a-way like we did. The sandwich was so good that I didn't mind this little glitch. The baked potato was huge and easily served two of us. The crab was again very fresh tasting and the amount of cheese was just right too. As said before, our meal was good enough to make us want to try other intriguing looking items from the menu in the future.
A good, local bar to get a good drink, watch sports, and hang out. Service is quick and good.
